JOURNALOLOGY – ACADEMIC PUBLISHING PROCESS
In the paper, we provide information about journalology - as the science of publication, and its history. We give brief information on metascience, open science, scientometrics and bibliometrics related to journalism. Journalology includes identifying predatory journals and publishers, choosing the right journal for publication, and generally producing qualitative articles. The establishment of Journalology Center in every higher education and research institute has been suggested to inoculate this knowledge in students and young researchers. The center also includes rules for publishing qualitative journals. This creates opportunities for journals to be indexed in international academic databases (pp.43-48).
