TRANSFORMATION AND INTERPOLATION ISSUES IN GEO-INFORMATION MODELING

Data geo-reference and interpolation issues are the main problems faced when creating geo-information model. The article reviews the transformation of the raster maps of different scales, and explains existing methods within geo-reference operations. Numerous deterministic and geo-statistic interpolation methods are presented. Moreover, LIDAR and GeoEye-1 data analysis is conducted for geo-information modeling. (pp.53-62)
